Dear XX
How are you? Wish everything goes smoothly!
In your previous correspondence you mentioned that you need some advice for selecting reference books that can complement your current textbook. After a thorough search of my recollection and previous notes, I'd like to give you some tips based on my own experience, just remember those are just my suggestions and there is no need to treat them as gold stardards.
In terms of business study, it is always good to start with finance and economy. I would like to recommend the classic written by Adam Smith under the title of "An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations", it is my all time favorite and once purchased, you will never regret spending your time reading it. Another related book is David Ricardo's "On the
Principles of Political Economy and Taxation" which as far as I can see, is a equally brilliant piece of writting, and a great reference book after you read Adam's work.
That should be enough by now, it will certainly take a lot of time doing those readings, but it will turn out well worth it. Have fun reading them!
Your best pal
Ming Lee
